Flounce About Jacket
Feel confident and feminine in this jacket designed to show off your best features and hide the rest. An empire band tapers at the sides to fall at the natural waist in back. The bands can be made from matching or contrasting fabric. The jacket is designed to be worn open, or closed with an optional loop and button closure at center front. The attractive flounce moves when you move while hiding four concealed pockets. All of the pockets have hook and loop closures to keep your valuables safe and secure. Plenty of Pockets Pants
This pattern is our answer to requests from customers for fitted pants with lots of pocket options. This design will be your pallet for designing the exact pants you need or want. They can be made in your choice of full or capri length. The pants are close fitting through the hip. If you are on the upper end of a size range, please check the finsihed garment measurements before cutting.
The 1 1/4' wide shaped waistband offers a more comfortable fit and the pants include a choice of a fly front zipper or a center back invisible zipper. Included is an assortment of creative, useful pockets that you can apply to the pants in numerous ways. Now you can use the same great fitting pattern but make it look different each time by changing the details. In addition, the pockets can be used on jackets, skirts or anything that needs a pocket.

Black Rayon Brocade
50% rayon, 50% polyester, 36" wide. A stunning medium weight brocade in black with brown, highlighted by gold. The scan doesn't do it justice; be sure to click on the photo of the fabric here Brocade draped
Suggested pattern is a simple jacket with minimal seams such as Butterick 4294 - use frog closures or Chinese ball buttons to finish this off; also line your garment as the fabric ravels easily.

70% wool, 30% acetate, 56" wide. This fabric has two sides, one is a woven fine wool, the other is a satin with sheen. Take advantage of both sides in a pattern by reversing the fabric on accent pieces such as the collar and lapels. I see Tuxedo Jacket written all over this fabric. Also a dress with piecing that could show off both sides of the fabric. This can be seen in a dress pattern like Vogue 1014 or a jacket like this one Vogue 8204 - by Sandra Betzina
