Petite Plus Patterns is a line of patterns designed for the plus-sized petite woman, under 5'4". The patterns are available in multi-size format (all sizes in one envelope) and range from size 14 to size 24. The measurement chart differs from the main-line pattern companies and more accurately reflects the figure of the curvy short woman. The secret to knowing your correct size is the high bust measurement and the tummy measurement.

This petite woman has narrow shoulders, full bust, short waist length and rounded tummy. Each pattern includes The Perfect Fit Guide, loaded with tips to solve your personal fitting challenge. The patterns are also drafted for a D bust cup, while most patterns are drafted for a B cup. No more fiddling with the bust darts! Developed by a petite plus designer, the styles are simple and versatile, easy to dress up or down, and make the basis of a complete wardrobe.

Petite Plus Measurement Chart

As Kathleen says,"Your arms didn't grow when your waist got bigger! Strangely, many clothing makers and pattern companies don't seem to know this! Our pattern chart includes tummy and high bust - two measurements that are key to your correct size.

For tops, choose your size by your high bust measurement (the chest area right below your armpits). This measurement ensures a better fit for your neck and shoulders.

For bottoms be sure to measure around the fullest part of your tummy as well as your hip. Use the larger of the two measurements to choose your size."

Petite Plus #102 Sweater Twin Set

Pullover sweater features round neck with self-fabric trim, optional side slits, long or short sleeves, optional shoulder pads and topstitched hem. Two sleek looks in one simple pattern. View A features smooth-front elasticized waist, slit over left knee and topstitched hem. View B, the easiest mock-wrap you will ever wear, features mock-wrap front panel, smooth-front elasticized waist, and topstitched hem. Pattern is for ankle-length skirts. If you prefer a shorter skirt, shorten from the waistline edge.
