Most of you have already read the article on Wardrobing which was based on Lynn Cook's four-part wardrobe plan. If not, click on Wardrobe Plan to read how Lynn began with 11 pieces and built from this a very extensive wardrobe.
Well, that was in 1998, (Stitches Vol 5 No 2) and Lynn has undertaken another wardrobe plan. This one is based on black and white primarily, with a few accent pieces in browns or black/brown combinations. This plan shows just how well you can work with two colours if you decide to narrow down your choices. Lynn has made 23 garments so far in this plan.
As for advice, best to see what Lynn has to offer:
"As always, my mantra is to make sure that five things will always work with five others. Staying with black and white as my base colours made this a breeze to achieve. It is only when you get to part three where I plan to introduce some colour into the wardrobe that I need to be more careful with my choices. So, this part was fun as I planned my options for jackets, pants, tops, and skirts."
